PROVE IT OR LOSE IT

This weekend is going to be the biggest test of the season at Penn State. The Nittany Lions have looked good to start the year, and the Hawks? Well, we have a lot to prove and this is the perfect opportunity. We are 14.5 point underdogs and this could be the kind of chip on our shoulder that we need. We are debuting our black pants this weekend and how fitting for what is setting up to be a funeral type game. The hater in me really wants to make a Sandusky joke but I just can’t seem to get myself up for it.
The Hawks seemed to bounce back a little last weekend with a good 2nd half performance. I was at the game and the crowd was out of it for most of the 1st half. The loudest the game got is when most of the fans cleared out and Max White (Stud) plunged in from about the 4 yard line. We are down a couple running backs and Lachey which is going to hurt us. Lachey looks like he had just surgery today and all seems to have gone well. No Jazz and No Kaleb will hurt the running game immensely. I think we have to let loose and play free. With not much to lose as a heavy underdog we need to dig deep into Brian’s bag of tricks. The media will have lots to say after they crawl out of his ass and see the marvelous display of offense we’re about to put on. The game in ‘21 was one of my fondest memories at Kinnick Stadium. The three false starts showed just how important Kinnick Stadium is. That was one of the loudest games that I have been at. Obviously beaver stadium will be rocking this weekend but it will be a good measure on how good this Hawk team is. We need Cade to stay healthy and for some receivers to make some plays. Throw it deep early and often and let’s shock the college football landscape!
Now that we are 1-1 in gambling lets see if we can dial something up. I didn’t give out an official play last week but let’s look at the offense because I see some value in our line. The bookmakers must either be drunk or typed in the wrong number. They put the Iowa team total at just 12.5 points. We must capitalize on their mistake and give me the GAH DAMN OVER.
